Cribl is an AI Platform for Telemetry serving many Fortune 100 enterprises. This Staff Software Engineer role focuses on building and scaling cloud infrastructure and backend systems, working across product and platform teams to deliver reliable, high-quality cloud services and infrastructure tooling. What You'll Do • Contribute with product and platform teams to build solutions that improve cloud services, infrastructure, and tools • Solve infrastructure problems using a software-driven, cloud-first approach with emphasis on quality, testability, and repeatability • Engage with teams to implement product roadmaps and objectives with focus on service delivery and reliability • Identify and reduce toil through creative innovation and automation • Contribute to developing best practices and engineering standards within the team What You Need • Development experience with JavaScript, Node.js, or TypeScript in a Linux or Mac environment • Exposure to building and deploying infrastructure in public cloud using software-driven approaches such as Terraform • Specific expertise scaling compute resources in Azure • Experience with complex development environments, especially large-scale highly available distributed systems and SaaS platforms • Understanding of writing software and API-driven solutions to manage and abstract infrastructure details • Experience scaling and deploying Linux-based systems Nice to Have • Comfort working with high autonomy and cross-functionally with a distributed engineering team Base salary $185,000–$245,000 USD.
