📋 Description • We seek a Staff Backend Developer to join Workato's Engine team. • Role focuses on recipe runtime, DSL, event pulling, webhook processing, and job execution. • Responsibilities include architecture, performance, scalability, storage, durability, and • Build, extend, troubleshoot Ruby and Golang apps; develop small Golang microservices. • Integrate data storage: Postgres, S3, Redis, Kafka, ClickHouse, etc. • Contribute across the full development lifecycle; provide code reviews and technical leadership. 🎯 Requirements • 7+ years building scalable distributed backend apps. • Strong knowledge of distributed systems patterns and algorithms. • Deep understanding of databases, caching, messaging, load balancing, monitoring. • Expertise in networks, DB technologies (SQL and NoSQL). • Multilingual programming: Ruby and Golang (at least two languages). • Cloud basics (Kubernetes, Terraform, ArgoCD); public clouds (AWS/Azure/Google). 🎁 Benefits • Remote-friendly culture with distributed teams across time zones. • Dynamic work environment with competitive benefits. • Opportunities to learn and grow within a leading enterprise iPaaS platform.
