Description
An enterprise client is seeking a Local Stakeholder Engagement Consultant based in Puerto Rico to support ongoing local stakeholder outreach and public engagement initiatives. The local consultant's role is to design and execute local activities with key local stakeholders in Puerto Rico, as well as to clearly explain the company's work, programs, and impact on the island in order to strengthen these relationships. • Develop and execute comprehensive stakeholder engagement workshops, forums, and informational sessions with municipal and local stakeholders, ensuring strategic alignment with organizational objectives. • Manage logistical requirements including venue selection, stakeholder outreach coordination, materials preparation, and detailed documentation to ensure professional execution and continuity of engagement initiatives. • Articulate organizational mission, strategic initiatives, and community benefits with clarity and precision, while systematically addressing stakeholder inquiries and establishing realistic expectations. • Collect and analyze quantitative and qualitative data (attendance metrics, satisfaction assessments, priority topics, stakeholder commitments) and deliver comprehensive, actionable reports to senior leadership. • 2+ years of experience in community management, group facilitation, or similar roles • Proven experience running events and conducting in-person, local-level work • Excellent presentation and active listening skills • Availability to travel between municipalities • Demonstrated field autonomy and accountability with ability to deliver brief, timely reports • Native or fluent Spanish (Required) Preferred Language • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience • Experience working with municipalities, nonprofits, community organizations, advocacy groups, tourism organizations, or public policy initiatives • English proficiency is a plus but not required Hybrid format - Position is remote but requires coverage of municipalities across the island according to schedule. Commitment: an average of 6 hours per week for 12 months. Estimated start date: September 2026.
