Any unsolicited resumes will be considered Uprite Construction's property, and no fees will be paid for unsolicited referrals.* Uprite Construction is seeking an experienced Superintendent to oversee ground up commercial and industrial construction projects throughout Southern California. This individual will be responsible for managing all field operations, ensuring projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate has experience working for a general contractor, excels at leading field teams, and has a strong background in commercial construction. Experience with tilt up construction is highly preferred. What You'll Do: Lead all day to day field operations from project startup through closeout. Manage project schedules and coordinate daily activities with subcontractors, suppliers, and project teams. Ensure work is completed safely, on time, and in accordance with project plans and specifications. Conduct daily site walks to monitor quality, productivity, and progress. Coordinate inspections and maintain compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations. Partner closely with Project Managers, Project Engineers, owners, architects, and consultants throughout the project lifecycle. Lead subcontractor meetings and maintain clear communication across all trades. Proactively identify and resolve field issues to minimize schedule impacts. Review drawings, specifications, RFIs, and submittals to ensure accurate execution. Maintain accurate daily reports, site documentation, and project records. Drive a culture of safety, accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement. Mentor and develop Assistant Superintendents and field personnel. What You'll Bring: 7+ years of Superintendent experience with a general contractor or comparable construction experience. Proven experience leading ground up commercial construction projects. Experience managing industrial construction projects including warehouse, distribution, manufacturing, or similar facilities. Tilt up construction experience is highly preferred. Strong knowledge of construction sequencing, scheduling, and field coordination. Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications. Experience coordinating multiple subcontractors and maintaining project schedules. Strong leadership, communication, and problem solving skills. Proficient with construction management technology including Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office, or similar platforms. OSHA 30 certification is preferred.
