Precisely is a data integrity leader serving 12,000+ global organizations. This Support Engineer role involves providing technical support for Precisely Data Integration products, particularly Sterling B2B Integrator, helping enterprise customers resolve complex integration and data management issues across multiple platforms and systems. What You'll Do • Provide world-class technical support via phone, email, and remote desktop connections while meeting SLA requirements and updating stakeholders • Investigate, analyze, and resolve complex problems across diverse platforms, software systems, and databases to ensure customer satisfaction • Determine root causes of issues within product, third-party libraries, user code, or platform libraries in enterprise environments • Create comprehensive internal and external knowledge base documentation for customers and team members • Debug issues, provide recommended solutions, and participate in periodic weekend on-call support shifts • Continuously learn new technologies and share knowledge with the team What You Need • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent work experience) • Excellent written and oral communication skills with strong interpersonal and customer relations abilities • Exceptional analytical and troubleshooting skills with self-motivation and enthusiasm for difficult problems • Experience supporting Sterling B2B Integrator, Sterling File Gateway, or Global Mailbox • UNIX/Linux knowledge and administration (AIX, Red Hat EL, Solaris, HP-UX) • Experience with database systems including Oracle, Teradata, Microsoft SQL Server, Vertica, DB2, ODBC, and Snowflake • Understanding of database management systems including relational design, tuning, SQL execution, and configuration • Understanding of networking design principles including TCP, IP, HTTP/S, S/FTP, SMTP, AS2, and data communication protocols Nice to Have • Cloud services experience with Azure, GCP, EC2, EMR, S3, and RedShift • Container and virtualization technologies including Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, AIX LPAR/WPAR, and Solaris Containers • Ability to leverage AI-powered tools such as Claude, GitHub Copilot, or ChatGPT for troubleshooting and research • Familiarity with AI-assisted log analysis and anomaly detection for root-cause identification
