Description
Broadsign is a software company providing out-of-home media buying, selling, and delivery platforms. This Support Specialist role involves delivering technical support to customers in Australia, acting as a technical liaison to help clients operate Broadsign's platforms and resolve issues across different operating systems and product versions. What You'll Do • Deliver exceptional technical support by answering product-related questions, diagnosing issues, and providing clear, timely solutions to customers • Investigate and reproduce customer-reported issues across different environments, operating systems (Linux and Windows), and Broadsign product versions to identify root causes • Take ownership of customer cases from initial investigation through resolution with accurate documentation, proactive communication, and timely escalation • Read and interpret application logs to troubleshoot issues • Manage multiple support tickets and tasks while performing well under pressure What You Need • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English with ability to explain technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences • 2+ years of experience in Application Support, Technical Support, or Production Support role supporting external clients • Experience supporting enterprise or SaaS applications • Experience with Windows and Linux operating systems • Experience with Databases and SQL (writing SELECTs, JOINs, filtering data, understanding schemas) • Solid understanding of computers, networking, and display technologies • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills • Degree in computer science or related field • Experience using ticketing systems (Jira, Zendesk, Salesforce, ServiceNow, Freshdesk, etc.) • Understanding of REST APIs with experience with Postman or similar API testing tools • Networking fundamentals knowledge: HTTP/HTTPS, DNS, SSL Certificates, Firewalls, VPNs Nice to Have • Experience with debugging tools • Programming skills and ability to read code • Scripting languages experience (Batch, shell) Wellness: $500 annual Wellness fund for mental/physical health and office-related expenses.
