⭐  Your next adventure awaits here…  ⭐ Reporting to the VP of Infrastructure and serving as a key member of Questel's Global  Systems &  Technology organization, the Systems Engineer  is responsible for  coordinating infrastructure modernization, data center migration, and process transformation initiatives supporting Questel's Trademark Services platform. This role requires a unique combination of deep technical  expertise , infrastructure engineering experience, and business process knowledge. The Systems Engineer will work closely with Systems Engineering, Development, Product, and executive leadership teams to assess current-state infrastructure and operational processes,  identify  gaps, and coordinate strategic initiatives aimed at consolidating, standardizing, and modernizing the Trademark Services technology landscape. The successful candidate will develop a strong understanding of Questel operational processes and technology platforms, acting as a technical coordinator and transformation leader across multiple concurrent initiatives that span infrastructure, operations, and the software development lifecycle. Your principal duties & responsibilities: • Coordinate and support infrastructure transformation initiatives across the Trademark Services environment. • Lead planning and execution activities related to data center migration projects. • Conduct infrastructure, operational, and process gap analyses. • Identify   opportunities to standardize and modernize systems, processes, and operational practices. • Partner with business and IT leadership to define transformation priorities and   implementation   roadmaps. • Work closely with Systems Engineers and Development teams to improve operational efficiency and platform reliability. • Support infrastructure consolidation and modernization efforts across on-premises and cloud platforms. • Develop and   maintain   technical documentation, migration plans, operating procedures, and   transformation   roadmaps. The perfect match… Bachelor’s   degree   or   any combination of education, experience and training which provides the following knowledge,   skills   and abilities: • 5 + years of Systems Engineering ,   Infrastructure Engineering , or   related   technical   roles . • Experience coordinating infrastructure modernization or transformation initiatives. • Experience   participating   in   or   leading data center migration projects. • Demonstrated ability to work across technical and business teams to drive operational improvements. • Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC), DevOps practices, and application support processes. • Experience conducting operational assessments, process analysis, and gap analysis exercises. • Experience presenting recommendations and project progress to technical leadership, business stakeholders, and executive management. • Advanced   expertise   of   Windows Server and Linux administration. • Experience creating and maintaining GitLab CI/CD pipelines. • Knowledge of Infrastructure-as-Code technologies including Terraform and Ansible. • Experience with Docker container technologies. • F amiliarity with virtualization technologies including VMware, Hyper-V, or KVM • Experience   working   within   enterprise  Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID  environments . • Fluen t   English   required ; French is a plus. Preferred Skills: • Microsoft Azure and/or AWS experience. • Networking fundamentals and troubleshooting. • NetApp storage technologies. • Kubernetes and container orchestration platforms. • ITIL, SOC2, or ISO27001 experience.
