The System Engineering Manager, Enterprise will lead district-level pre-sales strategy and execution, driving revenue contribution by proactively guiding and enabling the account team beyond the SE organization. (Team Size: 4 direct reports)

The manager will shape the strategic direction for district-specific solutions and selling motions, while building and developing a high-performing, proactive, and collaborative SE organization.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Strategy & Customer Engagement
Develop an exhaustive understanding of what drives a customer's business and what motivates their decision-making
Connect technology solutions — including the Everpure portfolio and broader ecosystem offerings — to measurable customer business outcomes
Partner closely with account managers, specialists, and channel partners to create a seamless, holistic customer experience and strategy that drives revenue growth and net-new business
Passionately communicate the advantages of an Everpure solution
Technical Leadership
Refine sales strategy and tactics while taking ownership of technical responsibilities
Provide technical leadership and domain expertise on storage products, distributed storage architectures, file systems, and competitive offerings across DAS, NAS, and SAN
Own evaluations, benchmarks, and system configurations
Build and deliver technical product and architecture presentations that secure the technical win with clients and prospective accounts
Capture requirements and translate customer business needs into innovative solutions that accelerate their growth and capacity
Proposals & Enablement
Author responses to RFIs and RFPs
Identify and pursue new opportunities for interoperability, functional, and performance testing/validation
Promote mutual roadmap and planning exchanges with partners
Liaise with product and technical marketing to produce supporting materials (whitepapers, web presentations) for overall alliance plans and objectives
Market Awareness & Culture
Stay current with the competitive landscape and ensure materials reflect the latest, differentiated solution positioning
Track market trends to promote thought leadership within the organization

Experience
Pre-sales experience required
5+ years of relevant experience across technology, design, and communications
Experience supporting sales of enterprise storage, networking, systems, cloud, or software to enterprise accounts preferred
Proven track record targeting new prospects and converting them into clients
Experience leading or significantly contributing to RFP, RFQ, and RFI responses
Technical Expertise
Deep understanding of the architecture, design, and implementation of multi-tiered client/server and web-based computing solutions
Superior knowledge of current and emerging storage architectures (FC, iSCSI, NAS, OSD, SAN)
Linux, NFS file systems, and Linux distributed network environments
