Expertise and Functions Perform technical analysis related to systems design and development Conduct tasks associated with systems engineering life cycle and the DoD design review process Utilize model-based systems engineering (MBSE) techniques Support systems analysis (e.g., discrete event simulation) with simulation techniques Follow, perform, and record the results of the execution of a test plan Exercise judgment to make recommendations on technical alternatives, component design or selection, and/or adaptation to meet assigned requirements Proficient in technical writing including white papers, customer deliverable documents, etc. Collaborate with leadership at all levels Lead technical reviews and meetings, internal and external Perform duties under supervision of staff and chief engineers Mentor less experienced engineers Other duties as assigned Requirements Education/Training:   Bachelor’s Degree from an ABET accredited institution in relevant engineering or science discipline required   Master's Degree preferred Experience: 3+ years of professional experience in the required task area Familiarity with a range of systems engineering tools - Cameo experience preferred Background in developing and/or testing aircraft and/or military components preferred  MRO, Depot Level repair and integration experience preferred Experience with systems integration, structural analysis and/or Python preferred Security: Must be a US citizen Ability to obtain a security clearance may be required Physical Requirements: Able to occasionally reach with hands and arms Prolonged periods of computer screen use, while sitting or standing at a desk Adhere to safety protocols when in work areas requiring use of PPE (e.g. eyewear, gloves, masks, hearing protection, steel toed shoes, etc.) Able to safely lift and carry up to 20 pounds at a time Benefits Health Care Plan (Medical, Dental & Vision) Retirement Plan (401k, IRA) Life Insurance (Basic, Voluntary & AD&D) Paid Time Off (Vacation, Sick & Public Holidays) Short Term & Long Term Disability Training & Development Wellness Resources Salary:  The projected salary range for this position is $90,000 - $120,000. This is not a guarantee of compensation, rather actual salary will be based on experience, qualifications, and applicable certifications or degrees held. Offered salary may fall outside of this range.
