TASKS • Guide team development efforts towards successful project delivery • Provide technical leadership to teammates • Maintain high standards of software quality within the team by establishing good practices and habits • Assist in the collection and documentation of solution architecture, user's requirements, development of user stories, estimates and work plans • Design, develop, and test applications in accordance with established DevSecOps best practices. • Oversee code reviews and provide actionable feedback to improve the code quality • Automate and support deployment of releases by liaising with responsible team/s • Align on and set-up monitoring, logging and operational support for the solution, with responsible team/s • Develop, refine, and tune integrations between applications • Analyze and resolve technical and application problems • Prepare reports, manuals and other documentation on the status, operation and maintenance of software • Assess opportunities for application and process improvement and prepare documentation of rationale to share with team members and other affected parties • Adhere to high-quality development principles while delivering solutions on-time and on-budget • Co-lead documentation required for the training of the end user and support team/s • Provide third-level support to business users EXPERTISE • 10+ years in SW development • 5+ years as SW Team Leader • Experience delivering mission critical, highly available, reliable and scalable solutions • Proven experience in delivering end to end cloud (Azure) native solution using managed services • Hands-on experience with DevSecOps best practices like CI/CD, Continuous Testing, Continuous monitoring, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), Blue-green deployment and Zero-Trust based security. • Experience managing stakeholders in a large organisations and work with cross-functional teams • Experience with agile Scrum development methodologies • Strong communication skills with both internal team members and external business stakeholders • Strong initiative to find ways to improve solutions, systems, and processes • Strong experience in the technologies required for the project (see Experience and expertise of the developers)
