WHAT YOU'LL DO • Report to the Team Lead, Insurance IT Operations. • Works in an open office environment. Normal work hours are from 9 – 5, however, considering the 24-7 nature of IT, the position requires participation in an on-call rotation to support incident management and system maintenance efforts. • Actively participate in team standup meetings. • Work within agreed timelines that have been established for tasks and deliverables. • Demonstrate technical mastery and thought leadership within your domain. • Champion change within the team to support our culture of continual improvement. • Inspire proactive systems management and operational excellence throughout AMA’s technical stack. • Oversee the installation, maintenance, and support of data center hardware and software. • Monitor system performance, analyze system issues, and lead troubleshooting efforts to resolve problems. • Support the documentation of your team’s environment considering all stages of operation, operating procedures, and disaster recovery. • Design, build, test, and maintain enterprise technology automation and integration scripts that address complex process flows. • Ensure that all system and application changes are developed, tested, and implemented in a well-controlled environment. • Support the creation and maintenance of standards for design, technical architecture, capacity planning, and security processes. • Actively participate in collaboration with other IT teams to understand and meet technical/functional system requirements. • Evaluate, design, and implement new products, tools and technology that could address both known and unknown organizational need.
