Description
Role overview As a Technical Sales Engineer, you will bridge the gap between engineering and commercial teams. You'll lead technical discovery with senior OEM engineers, evaluate CAD feasibility, and manage complex RFQs. This net-new role offers the chance to build a sales playbook from scratch while driving sustainable lightweighting solutions across Europe. Responsibilities • Lead technical discovery and qualification sessions with sophisticated engineering teams at Tier-1 suppliers and automotive or aerospace OEMs. • Analyze customer CAD files for manufacturing feasibility and stiffness requirements to demonstrate the unique value of IFP technology. • Manage the end-to-end technical proposal process, including RFQs and the development of a scalable technical sales playbook from scratch. Experience and qualifications • Holds a degree in mechanical or industrial engineering, ideally combined with business education like an MBA or Wirtschaftsingenieurwesen. • Demonstrates deep technical credibility in stress, stiffness, and design-for-manufacturing with hands-on proficiency in CAD software. • Communicates fluently in both German and English and is excited to travel across the DACH region and Europe for customer engagement. Why this role • Work with cutting-edge Infinite Fiber Placement technology to produce 100% recyclable and significantly lighter carbon fiber parts for global OEMs. • High-impact position as a net-new hire reporting directly to the Head of Growth and working closely with the CEO to shape commercial strategy. • Join an elite team with backgrounds from Airbus and Formula 1 in a mission-driven environment fighting climate change through manufacturing innovation.
