Role overview
As a Technical Sales Engineer, you will bridge the gap between engineering and commercial teams. You'll lead technical discovery with senior OEM engineers, evaluate CAD feasibility, and manage complex RFQs. This net-new role offers the chance to build a sales playbook from scratch while driving sustainable lightweighting solutions across Europe.
Responsibilities
• Lead technical discovery and qualification sessions with sophisticated engineering teams at Tier-1 suppliers and automotive or aerospace OEMs.
• Analyze customer CAD files for manufacturing feasibility and stiffness requirements to demonstrate the unique value of IFP technology.
• Manage the end-to-end technical proposal process, including RFQs and the development of a scalable technical sales playbook from scratch.
Experience and qualifications
• Holds a degree in mechanical or industrial engineering, ideally combined with business education like an MBA or Wirtschaftsingenieurwesen.
• Demonstrates deep technical credibility in stress, stiffness, and design-for-manufacturing with hands-on proficiency in CAD software.
• Communicates fluently in both German and English and is excited to travel across the DACH region and Europe for customer engagement.
