Technical Specialist - People Analytics The People Analytics Technical Specialist will work as part of a team responsible for global People Reporting and Analytics, ensuring they are configured, implemented, and delivered successfully to support and meet business demand. They will work closely with key technical stakeholders, including those within the People Analytics and wider HR team to assess needs, understand technical requirements, investigate potential solutions, and adopt a self-serve automated model. OVERVIEW OF THE ROLE The Technical Specialist, People Analytics is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable People Analytics reporting solutions within Workday. Partnering with People Technology, HR, and business stakeholders, the role translates reporting requirements into secure, automated, and self-service analytics that support data-driven decision making. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES • Design, develop and maintain complex Workday reports including Advanced, Matrix, Composite reports, Calculated Fields, and Custom Objects. • Gather business requirements and translate them into scalable reporting and analytics solutions. • Build and enhance Tableau dashboards and visualizations (where applicable). • Prepare, validate and curate HR data to ensure reporting accuracy and integrity. • Configure report security and maintain appropriate access controls. • Promote self-service reporting, automation and reporting best practices. • Support testing, deployment, and continuous improvement of reporting solutions. • Stay current with emerging Workday capabilities, including PRISM and GenAI enabled analytics WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR Essential Skills - • 3-5 years of hands-on experience with Workday Reporting, including Advanced, Matrix and Composite Reports, Data Sources, Calculated Fields, and Custom Objects. • Experience gathering business requirements and delivering reporting solutions. • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills. • Excellent attention to detail and data validation skills. Desirable Skills - • Experience with Tableau. • Exposure to Workday PRISM, Discovery Boards, or RaaS. • Knowledge of data modelling, automation, or GenAI-enabled analytics.
