Air Products is seeking a Terminal Supervisor for our La Salle, IL facility who demonstrates a strong commitment to safety, regulatory compliance, and team development. This role is responsible for leading terminal distribution operations, supporting a safety-first culture, and ensuring the safe, efficient, and reliable delivery of products while overseeing drivers, maintenance personnel, and day-to-day terminal activities. Required Skills Strong background in terminal/distribution operations with a thorough understanding of DOT regulations and safety compliance. Proven leadership experience in managing and developing teams in a safety-sensitive environment. Demonstrated commitment to safety excellence with experience implementing and sustaining safety programs. Ability to lead, coach, and mentor personnel through observations, training, safety meetings, and performance management. Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills with the ability to collaborate across multiple functions. Experience working closely with logistics, operations, maintenance, and customer-facing teams. Proficiency with computer systems and business applications. Knowledge of distribution processes, inventory management, and delivery operations. Familiarity with equipment maintenance and vehicle reliability programs. Self-motivated, results-oriented professional with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Ability to conduct customer site safety assessments and support continuous improvement initiatives. Ability to meet physical requirements, including climbing ladders and stairs, lifting up to 50 pounds, and working in a high-noise industrial environment. Ability to satisfy on-call and call-in requirements as needed. Minimum Hiring Requirements High School Diploma or GED required. Minimum of 5 years of relevant terminal, distribution, logistics, transportation, or operations leadership experience preferred. Strong focus on safety leadership and regulatory compliance. Experience supervising drivers, transportation personnel, or frontline operations employees. Willingness and ability to travel monthly to conduct driver safety observations and support operational activities. Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record required. Ability to work Monday through Friday and provide on-call support during off-hours as needed. This is the range that we reasonably expect to pay for this position as individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
