Description
Database & Data Management Build and manage MySQL/Postgres databases to store and structure vendor/product data. Maintain and regularly update pricing databases from multiple vendors, ensuring accuracy and consistency. Standardize, clean, and prepare incoming data files (Excel, CSV, vendor portals) for bulk uploads or system integration. Support high-volume data cleansing and mapping for pricing and product uploads. Ensure data is hosted properly on company servers to maximize SEO indexing and ranking. Pricing & Vendor Coordination Ensure pricing accuracy across SKUs, vendor price lists, ERP, CRM, inventory, and e-commerce platforms. Coordinate with suppliers to gather and verify pricing updates, lead times, availability, and product specifications. Track cost changes, discounts, and supplier promotions, while maintaining historical pricing logs. Monitor pricing trends, proactively flag outdated/inconsistent data, and identify anomalies. Provide data-driven suggestions for pricing adjustments based on competitor and market insights. Automotive Product Classification Perform classification of automotive parts by category, make, model, and fitment. Support onboarding of new products and suppliers by reconciling vendor data and matching SKUs across systems. Interpret VINs (Vehicle Identification Numbers) and decode vehicle data to verify specifications, compatibility, and product value.
