Description
Responsibilities
• Provide credit advisory to Business Heads / Relationship Managers
• Provide viable credit solutions to meet clients’ needs
• Maintain good credit quality of loan portfolio whilst supporting Wealth in meeting business target within agreed SLA
• Keep annual reviews current so as to minimize audit issues.
• Foster good working environment and contribute to a good end-to-end credit process for PB.
• Prepare and submit credit approval memo in accordance with credit policy for approval.
• Review credit related documentation issues and assess collateral acceptability, address loan and security documentation requirements.
• Complete annual credit reviews for assigned portfolio of accounts on timely basis.
• Maintain credit quality of the portfolio and raise early alert cases promptly.
• Ensure good end-to-end credit process for PB.
Requirements:
• Degree in business, accountancy or finance.
• Candidates should have at least 7 years’ experience in private banking credit either as a credit analyst, credit structurer or credit approver. Candidates with additional experience in a credit documentation and /or credit control role would have an advantage.
• Sound knowledge of credit risk issues & credit documentation requirements, as well as risk implications of credit structures.
• Good working knowledge of wealth investment products and retail banking products (real estate, credit card etc.)
• Good analytical and writing skills.
• Good team player with excellent attitude, interpersonal skills and able to multi-task.
• Possess perseverance, initiative and good communication skills.
• Commercial minded but anchored with high professional integrity
• Able to build strong relationships with business partners.
• Good Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, Powerpoint)
