Description
YOU WILL:
Financial Reporting:
• Oversee the preparation and consolidation of financial statements for the company and its foreign subsidiaries, ensuring compliance with US accounting standards (GAAP).
• Monitor the accuracy of financial data and ensure that all financial transactions are properly recorded
• Analyze financial data for patterns, trends, and anomalies, and recommend corrective action as necessary
Financial Governance:
• Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
• Supervise the preparation and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
• Provide financial guidance and support to department heads, and ensure that all financial decisions are in alignment with the organization’s strategic goals
• Coordinate external audits, addressing any findings and implementing corrective actions as needed
• Ensure continued communication with external third-party providers in different countries
Treasury and Cash Management:
• Drive short term and long term cash-flow forecast and cash management initiatives
• Organize a centralized treasury management process
Team Leadership:
• Supervise and mentor an international diverse team of finance professionals
• Develop a shared services approach to reduce closing timing
• Cross-functional Collaboration:
• Work closely with other departments, including operations, legal, and HR, to ensure alignment of financial goals and objectives
REQUIREMENTS:
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field
• 10+ years of experience in accounting and finance preferred
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license preferred
• Advanced knowledge of GAAP and federal and state tax laws
• Proven experience in managing financial operations for international subsidiaries in a global organization
• Experience successfully managing a global shared services accounting team
• Experience in leading and managing remote teams
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Able to communicate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders
• Experience with Workday Finance module preferred
• Professional services industry expertise (particularly HR and staffing services) is a plus
