About the role We're looking for a Vice President, Legal, Debt Capital Markets with a strong foundation in complex asset and project financing transactions and demonstrated experience leading the legal execution of debt financings, project finance, asset finance and other strategic funding arrangements.  You're comfortable problem solving and making decisions on complex legal and commercial matters with high levels of ambiguity, including effectively navigating cross-jurisdictional financing arrangements, lender negotiations and sophisticated financing structures. You are confident balancing legal risk with commercial objectives and are able to provide pragmatic advice. You're comfortable influencing without authority and exceptional at building relationships with senior stakeholders across Finance, Treasury, Capital Markets and the wider business to drive successful outcomes.  You are an exceptional project manager who thrives on leading complex transactions from end to end, taking ownership of execution across documentation, due diligence, negotiations, approvals and completion.  You enjoy being close to the detail, working collaboratively across internal and external stakeholders, and are capable of maintaining oversight of multiple concurrent multi-billion $ financing processes. You have the ability to understand complex financial considerations quickly, including issue spotting finance and collateral documentation, providing portfolio structuring and compliance advice, as well as advising on bankability of underlying offtake contracts.  You have led or worked as senior advisor on digital infrastructure financing (preferably, data centre project financing and/or AI hardware procurement financing). You also have experience on various group debt financing processes spanning numerous financial instruments, including revolving credit facilities, bilateral facilities, European & US bonds, convertible bonds, convertible debt and structured equity and financial security packages. You're a hands-on legal professional who is highly organised, proactive and resilient, with the ability to remain calm under pressure and deliver consistently in an environment where priorities can shift rapidly and multiple transactions are progressing simultaneously.  You're curious, quick to learn and excited by the opportunity to help build Nscale's in-house financing capability as the company continues its global growth, working alongside a lean, high-performing legal team supporting some of the most significant financing transactions in the AI infrastructure sector.
