Description
Kody is seeking a dynamic and experienced Vice President of HR for our Hong Kong and Shenzhen Office to lead regional human resources initiatives and drive our talent strategy in this key market. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of HR operations in Hong Kong and Shenzhen, ensuring alignment with global company policies while adapting strategies to local market practices and regulations. What You’ll Be Doing: Lead and manage all internal HR functions including employee relations, performance management, compensation & benefits, and compliance. Ensure local HR policies and practices comply with Hong Kong and mainland China employment laws and cultural norms. Manage local labor relations, dispute resolution, and serve as a point of contact for employee concerns. Oversee onboarding and off-boarding processes to provide a seamless employee experience. Partner with Finance on compensation frameworks, benefits administration, and compliance reporting. Champion Kody’s culture and values in the region, fostering an inclusive and high-performance environment. Lead change management initiatives and communicate HR policies effectively throughout the organization in Hong Kong and Shenzhen. Requirements 10+ years of progressive HR experience with a strong focus on the Hong Kong market and Shenzhen market. Deep knowledge of mainland China and HK employment laws, regulations, and best practices. Proven track record in managing HR operations in multinational or high-growth technology companies. Experience developing and executing talent acquisition, retention, and employee engagement strategies. Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities. Aptitude for working in fast-paced, dynamic, and culturally diverse environments. Familiarity with HR systems and tools used in modern HR management.
