At Lookers, we have a fantastic opportunity for a Warranty Administrator to join our growing team, processing warranty claims to manufacturer standards. You will ensure accurate submissions of warranty and goodwill claims on a daily basis, in addition to monitoring daily, weekly and monthly warranty reports.
The Warranty Administrator is responsible for processing and managing all warranty claims for the dealership, ensuring compliance with manufacturer guidelines and maximi s ing reimbursement. This role requires attention to detail, strong organi s ational skills, and a solid understanding of automotive repairs and warranty policies.
Examine completed warranty repair orders
Prepare claim forms and supporting material
Ensure maximum return from the manufacturer - for all warranty work including the issue of credit notes and associated paperwork
Review warranty reporting systems with the line manager to identify improvements where possible and administer warranty policy in the best interests of manufacturer and customer
Inputting the manufacturer’s warranty payments, return of warranty parts to manufacturer and reconciliation of warranty schedule
Keep accurate records of warranty submissions, credits, rejections, and customer contributions toward goodwill claims
The ideal candidate will be highly organised and has the ability to build and develop relationships with customers, colleagues and manufacturers. You’ll be self-motivated with a friendly yet professional manner, ambitious and enthusiastic, and can work well under pressure to meet deadlines with diligence and accuracy.
